Mountain Holler Steak & Seafood

Update Dec. 2023: We love going here for special occasions. Enjoyed the Ribeye steak & combo seafood Platter. Excellent as always. We love this restaurant for it's excellent food, service and laid-back appalachian atmosphere. We always love the filet cooked medium (tender and cooked too perfection) with soup (potato) & house salad with ranch. Basket of rolls served when you first sit down. I had the High Country Medallions (steak with cheese, peppers, onions and mushrooms in a wine sauce topped with 4 sautéed shrimps) which was very tasty. Broccoli with cheese as a side was yummy. No alcohol served here. Ended our meal with their special pumpkin bread pudding with icecream & whipped topping, delicious.

This restaurant was a home run. We were out of town visiting the mountains and they were trying to find a good place to eat. Started looking online came across this on Google maps it had a good ratings and they were 100% backed up when we went. Our waitress was the best waitress I've ever had, hands down. Every single item we ordered was amazing and the price was spot on for what I order and I felt. Well 100% go back if we visit this spot again in the mountains.

Food was great, as always. There were issues with the card reader tonight, which happens sometime, and Sydney apologized SEVERAL times, as well as trying to run my card again to see if it would go through. It didn’t, so I ran to ATM to get cash. Sydney is great at what she does. I worked here when they opened the doors and know how stressful it can be at times lol. Working in the food industry still, but as a manager now, I understand, “technological malfunctions” sometimes happen. She explained thoroughly what was happening about the register not opening when I paid in cash and should have. (Which I understand, once again) She is the SWEETEST girl. From start of order until paying, and leaving, she made it just easy, smooth and made things understandable for me as a customer. This sweet girl is going to make it far with her sweet, compassionate nature. 💙💙💙💙 I’m glad to see that the “crazy/instability” is finally gone from this wonderful establishment. As a manager at a restaurant, I know what bad that can do for business. Fredrick, keep on keeping girls like Sydney. 💙💙💙 she truly cares about her customers, and we all know that’s what truly brings business into our small town businesses. 💙💙💙 Keep it up Sydney, you’re doing a great job sweet girl. 💙💙

Came all the way from Austin Texas to eat at this restaurant with my Aunt & Uncle that live in Burnsville. They have eaten there several times & said that the food was great. Jenna ray waited on us & she was very attentive to us & all of her tables. She was constantly on the go. Jenna Ray was very bubbly, vivacious & kind. The ribs were excellent, the meat was tender (meat fell off of the bone), tasty & juicy. I ordered a 1/2 rack & could only eat about 2 1/2 ribs. Salad & bread were good. Never had ribs this good in Texas. All of the staff at this restaurant were hustling the whole time we were there.
